Replacing Air Filter on Toyota Sienna

At this time we will likely be changing the engine air filter on a 2003 Toyota Sienna. It is strongly recommended to replace this every 60,000 km and changing this repeatedly helps with gas economy.

This job is simple enough that most DIYers can do it and best of all no instruments required.

Here's What you need though:

Air Filter Aspect (Fram Half CA7351 or any model of your choice)

Ensure you buy the right filter. You can grab one from the nearest dealership or save your self some cash and buy it out of your local auto parts store. My choice at this time is a FRAM Air filter (Part CA7351) which I received from WalMart for $12 and truthfully (moreover the price) I do not see a distinction in comparison with the OEM filter that toyota sells.

Begin by unclipping the two clips that maintain down the air box cover to the air field then lift the duvet up and pull sideway in direction of the clip side. (You'll notice there are two tabs on the opposite facet)

You won't be able to take away the cover completely as a result of a part of it sits underneath the wiper arm cowl cover which limits the space. What you are able to do is raise it up and push it to the side; this could give you sufficient area to take away the outdated filter and place the new one in.

After you have got placed the brand new filter in, return the cover, align to the tabs and clip back.

That's it your done.
